About The Author
Stephanie Cecchini, CPC, CEMC, CHISP
Ms. Cecchini is VP of Coding Operations at Aviacode. In prior roles she served as VP of New Product Development with AAPC and its sister company as SVP at the American Society of Health Informatics Managers, Inc. Stephanie is an executive level healthcare sales and RCM operations expert with significant and broad ambulatory healthcare business experience with emphasis on E/M codes. She is an experienced general manager of interdisciplinary coding production teams (hospital and professional fees) and has worked with both health systems, physician groups, and payers. As a public speaker and published writer, she is a nationally respected advocate of fair and proper payment for medical services. Stephanie lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband Jim and their three children.
