Advanced A&P for ICD-10

The specificity of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS requires a more in-depth understanding of anatomy and pathophysiology (A&P). Understanding the structure of the body will assist in finding the correct table to build an ICD-10-PCS code. This course will discuss specific common chronic conditions that will be encountered most often in a practice that also drive quality measures. As payment models shift it is important for coders to have a greater knowledge of clinical conditions. Because ICD-10 has such higher clinical specificity coders must take their skills to a higher level.
