2011 AAPC National Conference

This year's annual conference offers more than 70 breakout sessions to choose from — more than any previous AAPC conference. Choose your sessions from any of the coding, billing, audit and compliance or practice management tracks. Be sure to check out the variety of pre-conference sessions offered this year.

Don't forget! You must select your breakout sessions in your member area after you've registered. Sessions have limited space and you'll want to ensure you can attend those most pertinent to you. If you have questions about how to select or change your sessions, view the conference FAQs below.

 

Conference Registration

  • On-site Registration: $795
  • One-day Registration: $295

Note: Pre-registration closed Monday, March 21. If you would still like to attend, on-site registration will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 3 and then again at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4. On-site registration is $795. One-day registration will also be available for $295.

Special Discounted Fees

2010 Local Chapter Officers
Local chapter officers meeting minimum qualifications during their 2010 year of service receive a $300 discount when they register to attend National Conference.

AAPC Corporate Members
Corporate members receive a 10% discount. If you book your accommodations through AAPC by purchasing a hotel and conference package, the corporate membership discount is only available on the conference registration portion of the rates.

Spouse/Guest Registration
Spouse/guest registration is $95 and includes continental breakfasts and lunch from Monday through Wednesday in the Exhibit Hall, and admittance to the AAPC president's address/keynote presentation. If you are a spouse/guest who is also a health care professional (coder, doctor, nurse, lawyer, etc.), please note that in order to receive continuing education credit, you must purchase full conference registration.

Exhibit Hall Visitor Pass
The exhibits-only visitor pass is for those who only wish to walk the tradeshow. No children are allowed in the exhibit hall.

Refund Policy

  • A full refund less a $50 cancellation fee will be issued if written notification is received by AAPC by March 7, 2011.
  • Optional activity tickets (social events and tours) are non-refundable.
  • No refunds issued onsite.
  • No refunds will be issued for any missed sessions or events, including sessions missed due to travel delays.

Confirmations & Receipts
Confirmations will be emailed to you when your registration is processed. If you submit your registration online, you should receive your email confirmation the same day. If you submit it via fax, allow 5 business days. For mailed registrations, allow 10 business days. If you do not receive your confirmation within the stated timeframe, please call (801) 236-2200 option 4 to verify it was received.

How do I select or change my breakout sessions?

  1. Go to the Conferences tab under your account purchases/items.
  2. Click on details next to the appropriate conference.
  3. Click on Create/Modify/Print your Conference Agenda.
  4. Check the box in the breakout you wish to attend in each session.
  5. Please note: You must click on the Update My Sessions button at the bottom. If you fail to complete this last step, the system will not save your changes.

How do I print a registration receipt?

  1. Go to the Receipts tab under your account purchases/items.
  2. Select the order number corresponding to the date of conference purchase and amount.
  3. Print receipt through browser.

What if I've registered but haven't yet received confirmation?


If you have completed your registration online, it is immediately entered into the system. If you have faxed or mailed your registration, allow extra time for processing. For faxes, allow at least five business days. For mail, allow at least ten business days. To view your registration:
  1. Click on My Purchases/Items under My Account.
  2. Click on the Conferences tab.
  3. If your invoice has been processed, you will see the conference listed here.

How do I add a guest to an existing registration?


Email us, or call 800- 626-2633 (CODE) option 4 prior to the meeting, or register your guest onsite at the AAPC registration desk. Guest registration is $95 and includes continental breakfast and lunch (Monday through Wednesday) in the Exhibit Hall, and admittance to the AAPC president's address/keynote presentation. Remember, if your guest is also a health care professional (coder, doctor, nurse, and lawyer) who wants to receive continuing education credit, that individual must register as an attendee.

Registration Packet Pickup

No registration materials will be mailed to you. You will be given your badge, tickets, program, etc., upon check-in at the convention center.

Attendance at conference is required to earn conference CEUs.
