The CPCO Online Training Course provides all the training you need to effectively develop, implement, and monitor healthcare compliance programs based on governmental regulatory guidelines. By the end of the course, you’ll be prepared to conduct internal compliance reviews, audits, staff education and training, and risk assessments.

Education and experience
Two years of healthcare work experience is recommended. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pathophysiology is required to successfully complete this course. AAPC offers the following prerequisites:
Fundamentals of Medicine — covers all three of the prerequisites below.
Anatomy (self-paced instruction), Medical Terminology (self-paced instruction), and Pathophysiology (self-paced instruction).

Self-paced: Average time to completion is two months or less. Four-month access to course materials with options for extensions.
