She holds a business master’s from Viterbo University and is certified in healthcare compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association. Bina has served as an officer on the AAPC National Advisory Board and was on the committee that wrote the COPC® exam and study guide. Bina currently serves as the Chief Operations and Chief Compliance Officer at Century Vision Global. Prior to joining the company, Bina worked for a health system in western Wisconsin, serving in multiple positions throughout the revenue cycle.

Catherine Butterfield, CPC, CRC, has over 28 years of business and operations management experience in multiple medical office settings and specialties, including community grant and levy-funded healthcare agencies, nonprofit, federally qualified health centers, and for-profit medical organizations. Her fields of knowledge include public health programs, primary care, internal medicine, specialty care, mental health, home health, hospice, and the insurance industry. Butterfield has successfully implemented and managed numerous healthcare programs and initiatives, quality improvement and HEDIS metrics, risk adjustment measures, and provider value-based incentive expectations. She currently works for a large insurance organization in Jacksonville, Fla., managing a national Medicare Advantage program, improving STAR scores, ensuring appropriate risk adjustment, and increasing member effectiveness for retired in-state residents who are insured under out-of-state plans. Butterfield graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in supervision and management from Florida State College at Jacksonville and later attended Western Governor’s University, where she received her Master of Business Administration in healthcare management. Butterfield enjoys spending time with her husband, her son and daughter, and many family members, who also now live in the Jacksonville area.

He received his master’s in business administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, in Philadelphia, Pa. MariaRita Genovese, CPC, is the director of revenue cycle and business operations for MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. She has over 30 years of experience in billing and practice management, most recently in the areas of family medicine and medical oncology. She is active in educating the physicians and staff in medical coding and compliance regulations. Genovese currently serves as president of the Greater Philadelphia, Pa., local chapter, after serving as chapter president and vice president in previous years. She is a former member of AAPC’s National Advisory Board and a former member of the 2015-2018 AAPC Chapter Association Board of Directors, serving on its executive board in 2016 and receiving the 2019 chapter officer of the year award. She has contributed articles to Healthcare Business Monthly, as well as the popular AAPC Knowledge Center blog. Genovese is a frequent speaker at AAPC national and regional conferences.

She has a long history of cultivating strong working relationships with providers, ancillary staff, and senior executives. Turner concentrates her efforts on working with independent and hospital-based physician groups to improve revenue by increasing productivity and office efficiency, as well as billing and coding compliance. She has over 12 years of supervisor experience in ob-gyn, general surgery, anesthesia, family practice medicine, dermatology, vein and vascular, and orthopedics surgery specialties. Turner enjoys the challenge of reorganizing practices with a history of ineffective processes and helping them achieve gold standard levels of performance, increasing insurance collections by as much as 39 percent. Turner is also an enthusiastic educator who teaches online allied healthcare courses at ProTrain, LLC, Practice Management Institute, Lone Star College, Purpose Medical Institute, and Collin College, and she is a member of the Texas Community College Association. Turner has received awards and recognition for outstanding achievement in teaching, leadership, and community involvement and is effective in developing curricula, providing quality instruction, and promoting a positive and engaging learning environment. Turner is the 2022-2023 vice president of the Richardson, Tx., local chapter and previously served as secretary. She is a member of the Digital Faculty Consultant team at McGraw-Hill Education and is on the advisory board at the National Health Career Association (NHA) as a subject matter expert in allied healthcare. Turner is also a member of the Honor Society at Abilene Christian University, where she is currently pursuing an EdD in organization leadership.

She specializes in infectious disease, family practice, endocrinology, interventional radiology, internal medicine, ob-gyn, chiropractic, mental health, podiatry, substance abuse, oncology, hematology, ophthalmology, medical dentistry, and podiatry. As a Certified Professional Coder, she is able to educate her clients on the key role of correct coding and documentation in the reimbursement process. Dailey is a PMCC instructor and provides seminars for physicians, their staff, and new coders entering the field and offers coding classes through her agency. She also has experience as an adjunct instructor for business schools in her area, an AAPC ICD-10 trainer, and an AAPC workshop presenter. Daily also served on the 2013-2015 National Advisory Board.
