Coding for orthopedic trauma has its own complications having to take into consideration patients that may have multiple injuries. This webinar will discuss common orthopedic trauma scenarios that can include coding from the integumentary, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and nervous system sections of CPT®. We will also look at patients requiring multiple surgeries for staged procedures or complications. Coding for fractures and lacerations along with ICD-10-CM coding will be among the topics discussed.

Lynn has 40 years’ experience in all areas of the physician practice, specializing in Orthopaedics. She is currently a Workshop and Audio Presenter. She is a former member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) National Advisory Board, as well as several other boards for AAPC. She is also the founder of her Local Chapter of the AAPC – celebrating their 25th Anniversary in 2021.
