The Clean Claim Clinic is an interactive, real-world Q&A designed for revenue cycle professionals who want fewer denials, faster payments, and less rework. This session goes beyond entry-level basics to tackle the gray areas that slow claims down: documentation gaps, front-end breakdowns, payer quirks, and workflow disconnects across the revenue cycle.

Participants are encouraged to bring real questions from their day-to-day work and learn from both expert insight and peer discussion. Whether you work in coding, billing, front-end operations, or denial management, this clinic is about understanding why claims break, and how to fix the process upstream so they don’t keep breaking.

Here are some examples of questions that will be answered. Come with your own questions to ask the Panel as well!

• How do you balance productivity expectations with the extra time it takes to prevent repeat denials, especially when leadership is focused on volume?
• When multiple teams touch the same claim, how do you figure out where things are actually going off track, without turning it into a blame game?
• How do you know when it’s worth slowing down to get something right versus fixing it later and keeping work moving?
• What specific training or automated tools are you using to ensure data is "clean at the source”?
• Is there a benefit to starting on rev cycle vs coding first if you're interested in doing both?

Carriers are creating and holding tighter to their policies more than ever. Knowing the requirements and rules impacts revenue and compliance. Coders and billers create additional value by knowing how to support appropriate coding for their provider and/or facility claims.

Coders, billers, managers and others in the revenue cycle. Revenue cycle starts when the patient walks in the door and ends when the last payment is received from the insurance carrier and patient portion.
