Let’s Simplify General Surgery Coding
Learn more about this event
General surgery is a specialty that covers a wide range of conditions and procedures. Due to this, there are numerous coding guidelines from many sources that can make this specialty particularly complicated. This presentation will help simplify general surgery coding by compiling and reviewing these various coding guidelines and have a detailed review of the procedures, diagnosis, and coding for breast procedures, hernia repairs, abdominal procedures, and more. We will review important CPT® guidelines, CPT® Assistance instructions, American College of Surgeons recommendations, and NCCI edits and guidelines.
