What is the difference between a Refresher Class and an Exam Review Class?

A Refresher Class is similar to a regular 1-2 hour chapter meeting with a focused topic. It’s designed to help members brush up on specific skills. For example, if members want to revisit early career basics, you might invite a speaker to lead a 'Refresher' session.

An Exam Review Class is a more in-depth educational event created to help members prepare for a certification exam. These classes can last up to 4 hours and must be taught by an AAPC-Approved Instructor who holds the credential being reviewed.

Both events are CEU-eligible.
