What do I do if my meeting location is requesting Liability Insurance?
Some venues may require proof of liability insurance before hosting your chapter event. If this happens, email the following details to amy.evans@aapc.com:
Subject line: Liability Insurance for Local Chapter Meeting
Chapter name
Venue name
Venue address
Venue contact person’s name
Once submitted, your request will be sent to AAPC’s insurance provider. Please allow up to 5-7 business days for processing. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a copy of the coverage.
Important Timing Note: AAPC’s liability insurance policy runs from April 1 to March 31 each year. Coverage for events occurring after April 1 cannot be issued until the new policy period begins. Chapter officers planning events after this date must wait until April 1 to request insurance for those meetings.
