What happens if we don’t have enough nominations for officers?
There are 3 required officer positions: President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer. If you have less than 3 members running for officer roles, there are several steps we recommend.
Send out all-member communications asking for nominations.
Reach out to your regional CAB representative to ask for help in securing nominations.
If you get to the date of your election and still don’t have at least 3 nominations:
You may go proceed with the election and elect the nominated members.
Next, let your regional CAB representatives know you were short nominees, and together you can work post-election to find volunteers to step up into the unfilled officer roles.
