ICD-10 Implementation TrainingBeginning in 2010, the AAPC will provide three-day, on-site, customized ICD-10-CM implementation training specifically designed for health plans. This curriculum, conducted by ICD-10 experts, will lead you through your implementation process step-by-step to ensure your organization is fully prepared for the switch.

Three-Day On-Site Implementation Training

Designed for the health plan, this three-day on-site training will cover implementation and guidance, featuring intensive training on how to organize the implementation effort, developing cross functional teams, budgeting, conducting an impact analysis, development of the training plan, outcomes measurement, crosswalking and mapping, implementation compliance along with hands-on exercises using the ICD-10-CM/PCS code sets. The curriculum will enable any health plan to systematically and cleanly make the switch to ICD-10. Training will be conducted onsite by an expert AAPC ICD-10 trainer. Templates and tools will be provided on a CD along with the training manual. The training can be customized for the individual organization.
