This session will focus on endocrine functions except those associated with diabetes or reproduction. Organs of the endocrine system secrete substances into the bloodstream that affect the entire body: pineal gland, pituitary gland, thyroid and parathyroid glands, hypothalamus, and adrenal glands. We will include a discussion on Addison's, Cushing's, and Grave's diseases, among others.
