Bridget Toomey

Bridget Toomey is the director/ clinical department administrator for the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Iowa Health Care. She came to clinical administration after years of experience in the back end of the revenue cycle working in accounts receivable management, denial management, claims, and project management. Bridget received her Master of Science in Health Care Management from Johns Hopkins University. Bridget is active in cancer advocacy including as a member of the Coding and Reimbursement Committee for the Society of Gynecology Oncology. She is a member of the 2022-2025 AAPC National Advisory Board and chair of the Social Media Committee. She is a past president of the Iowa City, Iowa AAPC Chapter.
