Diagnostic coding for deep vein thromboses and pulmonary embolisms can be tricky, and relies heavily on the completeness of documentation. This webinar will look at thrombosis and embolus documentation and coding, with special attention to chronicity, location, and etiology. We will also review when it is appropriate to query for more information, and how best to do so.
